TOURS › GALILEE & GOLAN
Galilee & Golan
The north is where Israel breathes. Green hills roll into the Sea of Galilee, ancient synagogues sit beside Kibbutz orchards, and the Golan Heights open into a landscape of volcanic hills, cattle and small wineries. This is a day (better, two) of unhurried driving and short beautiful walks: Safed’s blue-painted artist lanes, the old synagogue mosaics, a family winery on the Golan, and lookout points where your guide unfolds the region’s layered story. The VIP vehicle makes the distances easy; the family’s twenty years in the north make the stops feel personal.
Highlights
- Tzfat (Safed), artists' lanes and old synagogues
- Golan Heights lookouts and a boutique winery
- Ancient synagogue mosaics of the Galilee
- Banias springs & the foot of Mount Hermon
- Kibbutz life, how the north was settled
- Lunch at a family restaurant, not a rest stop
A typical day
Up through the Galilee hills to Tzfat: mystics, artists and the loveliest lanes in the north, before the day-trip crowds arrive.
Onto the Golan Heights: a lookout over the valley, an honest lunch, and a family winery pour.
Banias springs or an ancient synagogue site on the way back, with the Sea of Galilee opening below the road.
