An olive tree in the cloister of a stone church in the Galilee

FOR CHRISTIAN TRAVELERS

Holy Land Journeys

The Sea of Galilee at first light. The road to Jerusalem. Scripture read where it happened, at your pace, with your own licensed guide.

WALK WHERE IT HAPPENED

More than a tour. A homecoming.

You have read these places all your life. Capernaum, where He made His home. The hills above the Sea of Galilee, where the crowds sat down on the grass. Nazareth, the Jordan Valley, and the Mount of Olives with all of Jerusalem laid out below. Nothing prepares you for the moment when the names on the page become the ground under your feet.

We are a small family company of licensed Israeli guides, and we have walked these paths with travelers for more than twenty years: pastors and first-timers, couples and three-generation families, small church groups of every tradition. Our guides know both the stones and the text, the archaeology that anchors each site, and the passages that make it matter. When you stand at Tabgha or on the shore at dawn, your guide reads the words where they were first spoken, and then gives you the peace and quiet to take it in.

No bus schedule, no large groups of strangers, no gift-shop detours. One guide, one private VIP vehicle, and days shaped around whatever moves you.

A SAMPLE JOURNEY

Ten days in the Land of the Bible

Every itinerary we write is personal. This one shows the shape of a classic Holy Land journey. Yours will work around your church calendar, your pace and the places your heart is set on.

Day 1 · Jaffa & Tel Aviv

Old Jaffa (Simon the Tanner’s house and the harbor Jonah sailed from), then Tel Aviv’s White City and the Carmel Market.

Day 2 · Caesarea, Carmel & Haifa

Caesarea (where Peter baptized Cornelius and Paul stood trial), then Mount Carmel, where Elijah called down fire, and Haifa’s bay on the way north.

Days 3–4 · The Galilee of Jesus

Nazareth and its Basilica, and Cana of the first miracle. Then a day on the lake: a wooden boat, Capernaum, Tabgha and the Mount of Beatitudes, read where it was first spoken.

Day 5 · The Golan

Tel Dan and Banias, where Peter received the keys of the Kingdom, and a quiet, green day most tours skip.

Day 6 · Down the Jordan

The Jordan River baptismal site (many travelers choose to renew their baptism here) and Beit She’an’s Roman streets, on the road up to Jerusalem.

Days 7–8 · Jerusalem

The Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Garden Tomb, with quiet time built in. Then the Israel Museum’s Dead Sea Scrolls, and Yad Vashem.

Day 9 · Masada & En Gedi

Masada by cable car, En Gedi (where David hid from Saul and spared his life) and then the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea.

Day 10 · Jerusalem, last

Mount Zion and the Upper Room, the Western Wall tunnels and the City of David, then the drive to the airport.

Eight days is also possible: a pilgrimage version for Catholic travelers that includes a day in Bethlehem.

WHY A SMALL FAMILY COMPANY

Traveling with people, not a package

Large pilgrimage operators move hundreds of people a week on fixed routes. We are the opposite: a second-generation family company (founded by licensed guide Dina Horn, led today by her son Ofir) running a small number of private journeys with a team of licensed guides and VIP vehicles.

  • A guide matched to your faith background, comfortable reading Scripture aloud, and comfortable with silence
  • Your pace: rest when you need it, linger when it matters, skip what doesn’t serve you
  • Sunday worship woven in wherever you are. Tell us your tradition and we’ll find the service
  • Guiding and the private vehicle together, and no shopping stops

Planning a trip for your congregation? See how we work with church groups. We’ve traveled with congregations of forty-five and sixty.

QUESTIONS WE HEAR OFTEN

Before you ask…

Can we visit Bethlehem?
Yes. In Bethlehem we work with local guides, most of them Christian, who lead you from the moment we part until the moment you return to us: someone is with you the whole time.
What pace should we expect?
Yours. Most Holy Land days include gentle walking on old stone streets; we plan rest stops, and the private vehicle is never far. Tell us about knees, hips and heat preferences: we plan around them.
Can we attend Sunday worship?
Of course. Jerusalem and the Galilee have services in many traditions and languages; tell us yours and we will build the morning around it.
What about meals? Is the food Kosher?
You will find everything: Kosher, non-Kosher, vegetarian. We point out places we genuinely eat at ourselves, from market stalls to family restaurants, and plan around any dietary need.
Is it safe to travel to Israel now?
We answer this honestly and in detail, see our dedicated page. In short: itineraries follow the Home Front Command's daily guidance, a private tour can adjust in real time, and if a trip ever has to be cancelled we work it out together.
