Israel Christian Package Tour

We open our day by entering through the Jaffa Gate. At the Christian quarter, while visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, you will explore a wonderful mysterious complex of churches, chapels, niches and the most impressive Rotunda.

Next, you will step in the Jewish quarter of the Old City, with its synagogues, and happy energy at its central square. You will survey the ruins at the quarter corresponding with biblical stories. We follow the amazing subterranean ancient city that lies beneath the 21st century housing.

In addition, you will inspect the Israeli contemporary Cardo, the Roman Cardo, the Hasmonean Tower, the Wide Wall, the Herodian Quarter and finish at the Wailing Wall. From here, you continue to the Western Wall tunnels and walk on the same tiles, look at the same wall, and think of the same human issues that your forefathers had 2,000 years ago.

The exit is right beneath the formed Antonia Fortress, the place where Jesus was condemned by the Pontius Pilate.

After that, you go through the Muslim Quarter, which is also the Via Dolorosa (traditionally, the way of Agony), having a chance to learn about the population, the architecture and ornaments of the houses, enjoy the smells of the species, the bakeries’ fresh pastry smell, or any try the local food.

Then we head to the Garden Tomb, taking another optional view of the location of the Tomb of Jesus.

Biblical history along with incredible archeological ruins take us into the past by visiting the Temple Mount, envisioning the services that took place there. Leaving the Temple Mount plaza, we arrive directly to the Bethesda pools, where Jesus helped a person to walk again on his feet.

Next adventure for the day is the City of David, emphasizing its beauty and importance even to these days. It is thrilling to read in the Bible names that appear on the 2,700-year-old stones, to see King David’s Palace and to walk the awe-inspiring Hezekiah’s Tunnel.

At the end of the Tunnel, we will discover the Saloom Pool, where Jesus has sent the blind to wash his eyes and was cured.

We start our day with a wonderful visit at the Garden Tomb talking about the biblical options for the location of the Tomb of Jesus.

Our visit at Yad Vashem, Israel’s renovated Holocaust museum will include the Children Memorial and the Righteous Gentile Avenue. On our way, we will see the state’s parliament.

We start at the Israel Museum, housing a model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are presented. An interesting question comes up: what is the impact of the Dead Sea scrolls over the Christianity?

Following that, we take a ridden tour to observe the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, Prime minister house, the President Mansion area, the Parliament seating Hall -Knesset, and other objects in the west side of Jerusalem.

Driving through the same way Jesus walked his last time to Jerusalem and passing by Jericho (or even visiting it) are quite exciting adventures. We’ll observe Qumran, where the first Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

An “oasis in the desert” waits at the beautiful Ein Gedi nature reserve, where a biblical confrontation between David and Saul took place there.

On Masada we’ll explore the excavations while listening to the site’s incredible, ancient story and discussing the terrible dilemma the rebels had in their last hours, as well as its connection to the modern State of Israel. Later, we’ll enjoy a float on the Dead Sea, where it’s nearly impossible to drown.

After enjoying the Dead Sea water, we’ll travel north through the Jordan Valley. We pass by Jericho, then Beit She’an, arriving to the Sea of Galilee for an overnight.

We can replace Masada with a visit in Jericho, taking the Cable Car to the top of the Temptation Mount, visiting the Monastery over there, and also stop later at the Sycamore tree where Jesus gave his speech in Jericho.

Touring Nazareth & Galilee

The Land of Jesus, containing about 10 km length and 1-2 km width, has Jesus’ footsteps in every inch of it and makes this region unique in the world. For three years, Jesus ran his ministry here, and two thirds of the New Testament is written about this very area.

Starting our day with a tour the Mountain of Beatitudes, where tradition places the Sermon on the Mount, and Capernaum (Jesus’ town) that was his base for the ministry. The Tabaha area is simply filled with events of this rich history such as the primacy of peter, Multiplication of Fish & Loaves, and many miracles that were performed there.

We take a cruise on a boat to get the correct religious atmosphere, visit the Ancient Boat Museum, or the new ruins of Magdalah (Mary Magdalena was from there).

Following Jesus’ way, we will also visit his childhood town of Nazareth, passing by Caper Cana, where he performed his first miracle. After that, you will enjoy a breathtaking observation of the Jezreel Valley that will bring to your mind the Armageddon Valley.

We finish the day at the baptismal site in the Jordan River.

At the feet of Mount Hermon lies the Banias Filipay nature reserve, where Jesus spent his time with 3 of his disciples before they went up to a high mountain where the transfiguration took place.
Another site on our path is Tel Dan, a wonderful national reservation (with the biggest spring in the Middle East), which is also the excavated 3,000 years old town of Dan’s Tribe, and a 2,700 years inscription mentioning the “House of David”.

We will gain a deeper understanding of the Golan Heights as we climb up along several observation points over the Jordan Valley in the west and Syria in the east and pass through a few Druze villages and Kazerin, the main city on the Golan.

Finally, we finish this unique day by kayaking in the Jordan River.

On our way south, we pass through Megido, called also Armageddon, and we try to understand what is the connection between the past, the present, and the future of this spot.

Ancient Caesarea, built by Herod the Great, 2000 years ago, provided the citizens with wonders such as connection to sewage system, and flowing tap water to the houses, with the most incredible formidable port.

This city was the “Capital” of the Christianity before Rome took the crown, and part of our tour there will scan the avoidances for it!

Next is Jaffa – the lovely atmosphere of the old city includes art galleries. Peter’s visit in the city left a remarkable stamp on its history, an important 3,000 years old port, a mixed population and an incredible view.

Observing the view, will lead to a stroll in the streets of Tel Aviv with its special Promenade Markets.
