We will meet at the Ben Gurion airport where our adventure begins. Right after that, Jerusalem awaits to unfold its many secrets.
Starting with the Mount of Olives, we will first say the “Shehehianu” blessing for a successful, rich experience and observe the phenomenal view of the Temple Mount and the Old City.
Following this, you step into the Jewish quarter of the Old City with its various synagogues and surround yourself with the happy energy emanating from the houses and into the central square.
At the quarter, you will explore the ruins that correspond to some of the many biblical stories. In addition, you will follow the subterranean ancient city that was built thousands of years ago and currently resides beneath perfectly modern, 21st century housing. It truly is a spectacular feeling to see the harmony in the ancient story of Jerusalem and its modern life.
You will also inspect the Israeli contemporary Cardo, the Roman Cardo, the Hasmonean Tower, the Wide Wall, Medeba Map, the Herodian Quarter and finish at the Wailing Wall. After this, a walk through the Western Wall Tunnels will be an experience like no other. You will walk through the same tiles, touch and look the same walls, and think of the same ideas that your forefathers had 2,000 years ago.
After stepping out of the tunnels, we will find ourselves at the of Antonina, the 2,000-year-old fortress ruins where Jesus was traditionally condemned, and is also the first and second stations of the Via Dolorosa (traditionally, way of Agony). This will lead us to the Christian quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, one of the three holiest Christian churches in the world.
