LASHANA TOVA

Please accept my blessings for the New Year,

The Jewish New Year Eve is called the Head of the Year.
Just as the head takes the responsibility to direct the body so should we, make now the right decisions for the coming year.

Let’s make everything better than last year…
Try to love and forgive,
To spread smiles around, so they’ll come back to us…

I pray for you,
BE WELL and HAPPY!

I wish this coming year will be prosperous and carry with it the yearning for PEACE!

Here, in the Land of Israel you can get this special gift of "Archeological News".

The archeology brunch in Israel, as being the most progressive in the world, brings daily new ancient discoveries, which amaze us each time over.
How much more hidden history can this land contain?
How much more can still be found, and reveal in front of us?

The City of David is one of the Archeological sites that if you haven’t been in for six months, you have to visit to renew your knowledge …

"And Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashchur, and Yehuchal the son of Shelamayahu, and Pashhur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah spoke unto all the people, saying:….” (Jeremiah 38:1)

For the coming Holiday

May God bless our holidays to be happy ones, enough with the hunger in the world, give us good health, frienship, peace, and joy.

In Pesah holiday we think of freedem.    I pray for the return of Gilad Shalit from the Hamas prison back home, as sooner as better.

May God splash his blessings all over the world, and put good thoughts in people’s heart.

Wish you only the best,

 Dina and my family, Israel.

Happy New Year

Next year in Jerusalem, Traveling Israel

I would like to share with you a beautiful presentation showing photos of Jerusalem from the middle of the 19th century, until the nineteen forties.
Since you have already been in this amazing city, and experienced the information first hand by close, you may recognize some of the places in the pictures and be able to compare it to the contemporary sites.
The photos were found in the Congress library picture collection in Washington DC.
During the period in which the photos where taken there wasn’t a colored film. Some of the pictures are colored since the colors were added to the photos by hand.
The subtitles are written in Hebrew but you’ll be able to read the dates in which each picture was taken.
Enjoy............
