Christian Holidays

Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. It refers to both the day commemorating the birth and the Christmastide season, concluding with the Feast of the Epiphany. The date of the celebration is traditional and is not considered to be Jesus' actual date of birth.

The New Year

The New year is a culture's celebration of one year's end and the beginning of the next. Cultures that measure yearly calendars all have New Year celebrations.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast on the Sunday before Easter, symbolizing the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem in the days before his Passion.

The Ascension of Jesus

The Ascension of Jesus, as is most commonly understood by Christian doctrine, marks the occasion when Jesus' body ascended into heaven in the presence of his apostles, forty days following his resurrection.

Easter is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. Christians celebrate this day in observance of Jesus Christ's resurrection Two days after his crucifixion.
